Every year in Moldova, over 28,000 people need hospice care, but only 8% receive it. In rural areas, patients often face pain and death alone, without medical support or even basic comfort. Our hospice partners in the area, deliver essential palliative care to those who need it most, but without urgent funding, they may be forced to close. Your donation will help provide vital homecare. Please, help us keep these services going for those who have no one else.

For the last six years, we’ve been fortunate to receive vital funding that allowed us to establish Moldova’s National Palliative Care Network, and support their rural hospice teams in the region. But that funding has now come to an end. This year, we urgently need to raise £134,000 to keep the homecare teams operational. Without support, many patients will be left without proper care.
