Help Open the Doors of a New Hospice Centre
For nearly 30 years, our partner Hospice Emanuel in Oradea, Romania has cared for patients and families facing life-limiting illness.
Founded in 1996 after its Executive Director, Marinela, lost her father to cancer, the hospice began with a simple but powerful mission: to ensure that no one faces serious illness without care, comfort and dignity.
Now, that mission is moving into its next chapter.
Construction has already begun on a new Emanuel Hospice Centre, which will provide specialist palliative care for adults and children across northern Romania. The shell of the building is now complete but we urgently need your help to bring the centre to life.
The Heart of the Hospice
We are seeking to raise £25,000 to equip a vital floor of the new centre.
This floor will house the reception and home care team offices — the operational heart of the hospice. From here, doctors, nurses, psychologists and social workers will coordinate care for patients and families across the region.
It is where urgent calls will be answered.
Where visits will be organised.
And where families will find guidance during some of life’s most difficult moments.
