Hospices of Hope Events: A Statement
We have been disappointed to have had to cancel three fundraising events planned for the first half of this year. Despite our best efforts with marketing and promotion, we did not sell enough tickets for them to be viable to run.
Like many charities at the moment, we are finding fundraising events increasingly challenging, yet they remain such an important part of how we support our hospice partners across South and East Europe.
From our Gala Dinner and Carnival this October, to smaller community events throughout the year, every ticket booked helps to fund hospice care, support medical teams and families, and strengthen services available to people living with serious illness.
We work hard to secure sponsorship, donated prizes and pro bono support wherever possible, helping to ensure that the majority of income raised can be directed towards our charitable work. These events also play an important role in raising awareness, introducing new people to Hospices of Hope and helping us grow the community of supporters who make our work possible.
More than ever, we would love our supporters to come together with us, not only to support this work, but to enjoy special evenings with friends, family and colleagues whilst making a real difference.
Whether you book a ticket, gather a table, sponsor an event, invite a friend or simply help spread the word, your support truly matters.
We have some wonderful events planned for the months ahead and would love to see as many of you there as possible.
